Can you imagine? Im a father whose daughter, first of all, is in this great business of ours, and is one of the great stars of this business, he told Access at the In the Land of Blood and Honey premiere. Then she writes a script from the beginning, and she produces it herself, and she directs it. Who does that? Jon said Angelinas multi-faceted talents remind him of the legendary Clint Eastwood, who Angelina worked with for the 2008 thriller, Changeling. Its like Clint, but he doesnt write his stuff of course, he writes his music, Jon continued, referring to Clints work as the composer of many musical themes to his films. Im sure she was very inspired working with Clint and she [thought she] might try this, but shes got a lot of courage to do it. Im very excited. The proud dad said his faith in Angelina extends beyond family ties. He said hed gladly take a role in a film directed by the 36-year-old star. I would love it, of course. Im sure shes terrific, he told Access, when asked if hed like to be directed by Angelina. Im delighted to work with her anytime I can. In the Land of Blood and Honey hits theaters on December 23.
